While we wish it was possible not to have a negative impact on our environment, sometimes it is just unavoidable. However, as a business, we have begun taking small steps towards making our company greener and reducing waste wherever possible.

Partnership with Carbonfund.org

We recognize that our business operations have an impact on the environment and we want to do something about it. With the help of Carbonfund.org, we are now offsetting 100% of all travel, inbound / outbound freight, and office emissions. Our total offsets amount to 70 tons of carbon dioxide annually through the Carbonfree small business program. This enables us to counter — in our own small way — the negative effects of C0² emissions caused by the burning of fossil fuels. In addition, we are pleased to offer our customers a voluntary way to get involved in protecting our environment. Now, when you buy our tea, you can offset your shipment’s carbon dioxide emissions by adding the Carbonfree Shipping product to your shopping bag before you check out.

We recently switched label providers and have introduced a more environmentally friendly label coating material, made from renewable corn instead of imported petroleum.

No more paper invoices

Unless you specifically ask, we will no longer be printing paper invoices or packing lists to accompany your order. This will save us from using thousands of pages of paper per year. We do send out electronic order confirmations via email, so we hope you will refer to the email receipt for your records.
