Mamma Mia

Organic Indian Black Tea, Jungpana Estate, Darjeeling

Mamma Mia is a classic Darjeeling tea from the highly acclaimed Jungpana estate in Darjeeling. Grown at elevations reaching up to 4,500 feet, Jungpana is now famous for producing teas of exceptional quality year after year. When brewed, the liquor is a bright amber color that is at once lightly spicy, fruity and sweet. The slight fruitiness is reminiscent of the muscat grape, which is a characteristic treasured by Darjeeling tea lovers. Enjoy hot or iced.

Thanks. I bought this for my mom and she wasn't too fond of it (I think she prefers your bold assam teas). However, I LOVED it and drink it all the time now!! Thank you so much.

This is Jungpana at its finest. A fine estate, fine tea. I think this is a first flush tea, although I could be wrong.

A good Jungpana

From what I could discern, this is a good first flush Jungpana. I prefer Margaret's Hope, but this is a good tea also.

Perfectly balanced

This is my first taste of "loose leaf" black tea and I can't imagine ever going back to those awful tea bags.
